Near Infrared Technology (NIR)
While most other labs have outsourced their calibration sets, we produce, maintain and manage our own. Agri-King was the first to analyse, calibrate and predict amino acids by NIR technology in 1987-88 for corn and soybean samples, and the first to do the same for individual sugars of forages on a routine basis in 2008.

X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF)
Agri-King was the first to apply this technology for the mineral analysis of grains in 1984, and it has enabled us to use direct anion/cation balancing of every diet since the early 1990s.
Used to predict 12 different elements (Al, Ca, Cl, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, P, S, and Zn) of forages and grains.

Wet Chemistry
Nitrate-nitrogen testing is performed on all forage samples, with individual sugar testing available, and amino acid testing available on grains and forages. Water testing is also available.

Analab specialises in lab services and general sample analysis, and is the only lab in the world maintaining live, artificial rumens used in digestibility studies.
Samples currently arrive from 3 different continents, including North America, Europe and Asia.
We provide a quick turnaround, with NIR and XRF analyses completed on the same day as sample arrival, and if required, wet chemistry is completed for the following day.
